When the highest court in the land rules against age discrimination protections, it is no surprise why today’s job marketplace is stacked
so much against anyone over 50.
It would be pointless, even if one had the monetary resources and determination, to pursue legal action against any employer while this legal precedent exists.
It is a barrier that needs to be removed to level the playing field and at least give older and qualified workers some glimmer of hope.
We are talking about a crisis that was fed by a very widespread social delusion – which persists – that government is THE problem. What can be said to people who believe this? Or those who do not think they should have to pay taxes? Wall Street & greed & the rich made this happen.
Good blog with some exciting information.
I will be back.
